What the Bored Read

Crazed Ramblings from my Mind:
Getting the last minute stuff together for the wedding is turning out to be easier than I thought. Finished making the favors last nite, now all I have to do is put them together and package them so they don't break on the way to TN. I would post a pic of them, but since most of the people who read this are going to be getting one, I don't want to ruin their surprise. :-)
Whatever you do, don't plan a trip to Normal IL right now. Trust me on this. So far, we've had two pretty days this year. Even though, the sky does look pretty bright right now, and the birds are singing, so that's a good sign. Maybe I'll be able to play basketball after all. Yeah, another fun game of One on None.

Lists of the Day:
I love lists. It gives me a real sense of satisfaction to cross yet another chore off my daily to do list. Sometimes, I cross things off I haven't done, just because it makes me happy. And that's the whole point right? To be happy?

Question from Me to the World
I know the United States has its problems, but they hardly come close to the deplorable conditions in which women and children in developing and Asian countries are forced to live. Granted not all of the countries in those two groups mistreat their women and children. It really is frightening, however, to think of all those that do. So what do women in Pakistan have to do to be mutliated with acid? Why is infanticide so prevalent in China? Also, here is a website dedicated to helping the women and girls of Afghanistan.
